Choosing the Right Font
Match the Font to the Brand
Athletic block fonts project strength. Script fonts feel personal and premium. Old English tells a story. Pick the one that fits your brand’s personality.
Size Matters for Scripts
Script fonts need a minimum cap height of ¾" to stitch cleanly. Below that, thin connecting strokes can break down. When in doubt, use block for small placements.
Digitizer-Only Fonts
Fonts tagged “Digitizer Only” are fully available to you as a customer — they just require our specific software license to produce.
Thread Color Limits
Standard text fonts use 1 thread color. Fewer colors = lower stitch count = lower cost. Especially important for name/number sets on team orders.
Garment Type Matters
Soft fleece and knits need looser underlay stitching. Structured hats handle dense fills well. Always mention your garment type — it affects how we set up the design.
Mix Fonts Carefully
A block font for a team name paired with a script font for individual names is a classic combo. Avoid mixing two scripts — consistency reads as more professional.
